AVT Enclosures

AVT ported fairing speaker enclosures put the enclosure at the center of the audio build. Choose a 6.5-inch or 8-inch empty pair in matte black / charcoal ABS. Both reuse stock hardware and share the factory-enclosure application of the 2017 Road Glide.

6.5-inch pair: $525. 8-inch pair: $575. Shipping included for both. Made to order. Ships in 2–3 days.

The 8-inch version requires a small modification to the inner fairing vent outlet. The 6.5-inch version does not require that modification.

6.5-inch: a documented on-bike development pairing

The PRV 6MR500-NDY-4, 4-ohm speaker was used in the 6.5-inch prototype's installed acoustic testing. Historical enclosure and multi-driver models add context for midbass, cone motion and speaker selection. The 6.5-inch version does not require the inner-fairing vent-outlet modification.

8-inch: plan the driver, power and protection together

The contoured 8-inch enclosure has an integrated scroll port. Its development comparisons show how different speaker choices change modeled response and output limits. August 26 on-bike cone/port and both-speaker rider measurements add real prototype evidence. Confirm exact speaker clearance with AVT and allow for the required small inner-fairing vent-outlet modification.

Each product page includes existing engineering comparison charts, a practical takeaway and links to full-size views. Modeled results are labeled with their assumptions and kept separate from each prototype's on-bike measurement history. Use them to plan the system with AVT; they are not a guaranteed output rating or a universal speaker-fitment list.

Both products are supplied as empty matching pairs. Select speakers, amplification, processing and wiring separately. The approved photographs and silent 360-degree views show the actual enclosure designs.
