Balancing and installation

Dedicated active balancing transfers energy between cell groups to help keep their states of charge aligned. It does not automatically disconnect charging or output at voltage, current or temperature limits. This base Nexus model has no automatic BMS cutoff and no internal fuse.

Have your installer verify lithium charging suitability, battery operating limits, wiring and appropriately specified external circuit protection. Capacity is not a continuous-current rating, and cranking performance does not establish sustained amplifier output or audio runtime.

Nexus 30L or 20L?

The Nexus 30L has 45 Ah capacity; the Nexus 20L LiFePO4 battery has 30 Ah. The 30L and 20L names identify battery formats, not amp-hour capacities. Use the confirmed model and year applications below to choose the battery. A larger capacity does not make a different format a drop-in replacement or establish an audio runtime.

Battery model references

Comparing your existing battery with the Nexus 30L? These are manufacturer battery numbers used in the 30L reference family. They are comparison references, not alternate Nexus SKU names or automatic replacement approvals. The confirmed Nexus drop-in applications remain in the fitment section below. 2-year (24-month) limited warranty from Ohm Odyssey against defects in materials and workmanship, starting on the original retail purchase date. Applies to eligible new purchases on or after October 14, 2026 by the original retail purchaser, directly from Ohm or an authorized dealer, originally delivered within the 50 United States or Washington, DC. You pay shipping to Ohm. Ohm pays return shipping for approved warranty claims. If a claim is denied, including no covered defect found, you pay shipping both ways; return charges are disclosed before shipment. Obtain return authorization and battery transport instructions before sending a battery.

A repaired or replacement battery keeps the remaining original term or 90 days from delivery, whichever is longer. Read the full Ohm Odyssey warranty, eligibility, exclusions and claim instructions.
